CBIE is pleased to be managing the Kuwait Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Canada since 2003. CBIE manages this program on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education of Kuwait in cooperation with the Cultural Division of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington. CBIE offers a wealth of scholarship management services to ensure the academic success of students in Canada.
Up to 25 scholarships per year have been offered by the Ministry of Higher Education to Kuwaiti students wanting to pursue postsecondary studies in Canada. The scholarships have been in programs such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Dentistry, Medicine, Journalism, Environmental Science, Architecture and many more.
The Kuwait Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Canada has been well received by our universities in Canada. CBIE has negotiated special agreements for students who are participating in this program.
Students participating in the Kuwait Undergraduate Scholarship Program in Canada have been carefully selected by the Ministry, which ensures the academic suitability of each student. To qualify for a scholarship under this program, students generally have a very high GPA and must meet a TOEFL level of at least 500 (or 173 computer based).
