In its submission last week to the House of Commons Finance Committee, the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) stated that Canada’s grand challenge is to get more of our students going international.
Over the next month an unprecedented number of international students will be travelling across the globe in the pursuit of knowledge. In recent weeks, international mobility and global health are linked in the headlines as a result of Ebola Virus outbreaks in various regions of the world.
On Tuesday of this week, at Western University, Erin O’Toole, Parliamentary Secretary, International Trade, announced funding to the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) through the Government of Canada’s Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) program.
